From now until December 31, DHL Express will donate a portion of every shipment delivery fee to an NGO working with children in need
DHL Express, the world’s leading express service provider, announced today that for every shipment the company delivers from now until December 31, a portion of the delivery fee will be donated to Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home Inc., a non-governmental organization working with abandoned, neglected, foundling, and surrendered children.
By shipping with DHL Express this coming holiday season, customers will also be supporting Tahanan ng Pagmamahal to provide a safe and secure environment to help children under their care live a more holistic life. For every shipment transaction, PHP 5.00 will be used in buying essential supplies and learning materials for the children under the organization’s care.
“Thanks to the dedication of our employees and close collaboration with the authorities, we are fortunate enough to have remained operational even during the most challenging periods. We have been able to fully support our customers in sending and receiving shipments crucial to their business and making sure essential items like medical supplies and PPE make it to our frontline heroes,” said Nurhayati Abdullah, Country Manager, DHL Express Philippines. “This festive season, we are paying our gratitude forward through an organization that serves as a safe haven for children. As they say, ang pasko ay para sa mga bata [Christmas is for the children]. Christmas is all about giving and through this holiday campaign, we hope to spread a little joy and live out our company’s purpose of Connecting People and Improving Lives.”
